Rich gold metallic zari motifs stand out against a deep midnight navy-black ground in this brocade fabric. Large floral medallions, each with a small navy teardrop centre, repeat across the cloth. Scrolling leaves and vines fill the spaces between them. Close up, the base shows a faint blue sheen where the light catches it.

The brocade has a glossy surface and falls in soft, full folds. It is perfect for sewing a Moroccan takchita or kaftan for weddings, henna nights and Eid.
