Black Multicolour Floral Brocade Fabric with Gold Zari Weave

This black brocade fabric has a glossy, smooth ground woven with a dense all-over floral pattern. Ornate gold and champagne scrollwork frames bouquet-like motifs in fuchsia pink, coral orange, olive green and antique gold. Small pomegranate-style buds and fine green vines fill the spaces between the motifs.

The metallic zari threads catch the light against the dark ground, and the fabric falls in soft, fluid folds. A narrow bronze-gold zari border runs along the edge. It is perfect for sewing a Moroccan takchita or kaftan for weddings, henna nights and Eid.
