Deep Maroon Gold Paisley Brocade Fabric with Metallic Zari Weave

Rich and regal, this deep maroon brocade fabric is woven with an all-over pattern of ornate paisley and tulip-shaped motifs in antique gold metallic zari. Delicate scrolling vines and tiny florals fill the spaces between the large motifs, giving the fabric a dense, heirloom look against the dark wine-coloured ground.

The fabric has a lustrous sheen that catches the light, and it falls in full, structured folds. A narrow plain maroon edge runs along the selvedge. It is perfect for sewing a Moroccan takchita or kaftan for weddings, henna nights and Eid.
